Blood draw

Tips for blood tests
You can count on expert guidance from the staff at the Center. Still, you may not like the idea of having your blood drawn. Our staff will do their best to reassure you and answer any questions you may have. Here are a few tips to prepare:
- Make sure you are well-rested and drank enough fluids.
- Have you fainted before? Please let us know; we are trained to handle this situation.
- Have you previously experienced difficulties when having your blood drawn? Let us know which location has been most successful in the past.
- Try to relax. Close your eyes and breathe deeply and calmly through your mouth.
You may want to eat or drink something afterward. Please remember that your following examinations may require you to have an empty stomach.
